Amaryllis

In bloom. This is the only one we had this year. The armadillo must have lunched on the others.

Do you actually have real Armadillo's in FL?

You gotta post up some 'Dillo pix if you do ;-)

I have an armadillo living in a hole next to my fence in the front yard. They are all over Florida. You see them on the trails too.

I'll snap a few pics and post up a thread about my little armored neighbor when I get a chance.

How cool to have a Dillo living in your yard.....best I can muster is an occasional pair of fornicating Hedgehogs in my yard :-/

I wouldn't know a hedgehog if it bit me on the ass.

Ok....you guys have 'big stuff' in the USA so imagine one of your Porcupines, shrunk to 20% of its normal size, then take some clippers to its long spines and put its nose in a pencil sharpener and you have a Hedgehog.....extremely common Roadkill on English roads...
