Pretty cool deals. That era of Schwinn was trick, along with the EWR frame.
I just scored a late '90s Specialized FSR off a coworker pal. USA frame, Mountain Speed link and Fox shock for 5" of travel. Marzoccohi 5" Bomber fork, Flite saddle, Chris King headset, Thomson seatpost and stem, Easton carbon 'bars, all Shimano XT. Great shape for $200.
A bit small for me, though my 13 year old son has been bombing around on it ...
hi matey,
follwoing Your blog for a while, and at neaer inspection I have to see, that I got my EWR from YOU - hah, the world is small
I built it with the syncros post i got with the frame from You, a nice syncros stem (same as in your pic), a white brothers sc70xc, cobalt blue parts (raceface real-seal hs, e-cranks2, control tech flatbar, ulterain hubs with sun rims) and few black (rpm brakelevers and complete xc pro)
cheers
Michael
Not mine, Michael. Just an item that I saw posted and watched through the auction. When they don't come to me they 'got away'.
Cheers!
