From the glory days of the side-pull brake. These beauties are my favorite levers, and are the pinnacle of late 1990's CNC swank. Yummy. The floor of my shop provides the background.
lovely levers indeed, especially the silver ones ;-). Not sure, but I believe they also made v-brakes back in the days, called split beams if I am correct. Never seen them bytheway... see you on the retro forum :-)
I remember prototype brakes, but I never saw them in a shop or in a suplier catalog like QBP. I couldn't tell you if they went live with the brakes or not. The levers were always my favorite. Don't forget, then next ones are yours...bid high! ;-)
